 AIMS FOR HALESWORTH IN BLOOM
We encourage everyone of all ages and challenges, especially young people, to participate and celebrate growing flowers, fruit and vegetables and our horticulture heritage to:
  1. ·       Improve the unique beauty of the Halesworth
  2. ·       Encourage local community horticultural projects that help improve the town 
  3. ·       Support biodiversity and protect our precious resources especially water and peat
  4. ·       Increase community participation
HALESWORTH IN BLOOM AWARDS 2013 - 2017
2017 up to April
  • Suffolk Community Foundation Award and £5,000 towards improvements to the Town Park
2016 
·       Anglia in Bloom Town Gold Award (third year running)
·       ​Royal Horticultural Society Greening Grey Britain National Award
·       Community Green Flag award Halesworth Town Park
·       Halesworth Town Park Silver Gilt Award (Anglia in Bloom)
·       Halesworth Closed Cemetery Silver Award (Anglia in Bloom)
·       Special Award Nominations for Commercial Area; Biodiversity (Halesworth Millennium Green)
·       2015 
·       Anglia in Bloom Best Small Town, and Gold Award (second year running)
