New trees for Halesworth

Halesworth in Bloom tree wardens have been busy planting trees all around town this winter; white beam at the corner of Norwich Road and Old Bungay Road, crab apple along Roman Way, then we started on free native baby trees from the Woodland Trust, of which we have over 100.

​As they are so small they come with a plastic tube which we hope will be removed in a couple of years. Trees this size are normally easy to establish and we will not be watering them. If you live near any of them please give them a drink if we have another drought this summer.
