As usual Halesworth in Bloom had a stall outside Rehability and opposite the Library. The weather was kind and thanks to Liz Wooster we were all set up by 8.30am
We had a small Raffle, and some plants to sell but principal;ly we were asking those people attending to write just one sentence about their impression of Halesworth Centre on post-its which they stuck on to a flip chart. We had nearly 200 contributions. They were heart warningly positive and the planters, bright floral displays, trees, shrubs and perennials were a key reason why they like Halesworth and would revisit. Some examples from the first 50 looked at. "Wonderful Windows and flowers" Colourful planters congratulations to all those responsible for the planters "wonderful flowers and displays" ""Beautiful planters and shrubs enhance the High Street " "especially the flowers and trees in the planters" "full of beautiful flowers" "Bright colours in the planters and at Station all locally home made thanks to shop owners and Halesworth in Bloom" "The tubs are fab!" "Truly Halesworth in Bloom" "beautiful plants" "amazing floral displays"

We made over £300 on the raffle, plants and donations but the most interesting thing was getting everyone's impressionsof our Town. It encourages us to go in for this Great British High Street Award
